Welcome to our website.
The magnificent Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park continues to offer so much to visitors.
The Friends group provides a great opportunity for us to give something back so that others may continue to discover and enjoy all that fascinates us about the Park.
Our objective is to assist with the preservation and restoration of the natural, indigenous and pioneer heritage throughout the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park.
We are volunteers working in partnership with Ranger staff. Our tasks can take us anywhere within the 95,000 hectares the Park covers, and they vary from eradication of feral plants to restoration of heritage buildings. Over time we become very familiar with every section of the Park and all the beauty and excitement it has to offer.
Many members are unable to attend the Park to join us in our conservation work but their annual subscription enables much of the work carried out by other members.
Membership is available to everybody with an interest in the Ikara-Flinders Ranges. Age is no barrier, nor is place of residency; we have interstate and overseas members.
Please read more about us and consider becoming a member.
